Registration Information

For Students, a deposit of $195 is required to register, with the balance due at the Intensive. Payment plans may be available through the SLT office upon request. Prices listed below for each category are the national SLT prices. If you are a member of a church hosting one of the Intensives, your church may provide a scholarship to reduce the price of your registration. Please check with your host church SLT Coordinator for this information.

Categories of registration for the Strategic Life Training Intensives:

As a Student:
  • A student wanting to participate in the correspondence program must be a Christian, 17 years or older.
  • The cost for students is $695 per year, per person. Married couples sharing materials are $695 per year.
  • For those students enrolling in Year 2, who are also facilitating students, please fill out the Year 2 application and note that you are a facilitator, and list your students in the "Other Comments" section.
  • To repeat a year, the cost is $295. A deposit of $195 is required to register, and the balance ($100) is due at the Intensive.

As a Facilitator:
  • Facilitators are chosen by prospective students and church leadership in conjunction with SLT staff.
  • All first time facilitators are required to simultaneously enroll as first year students. Please fill out the first year student application and note in comments that you will also be facilitating.
  • Repeat Facilitators (those who are graduates of the course and/or have facilitated before) do not pay a fee to facilitate. Their only cost is the Intensive event fee of $150.

As an Auditor:
  • Auditors attend the Intensive but do not participate in the curriculum and mentoring component of the course.
  • The cost for auditors is $295. A deposit of $195 is required to register, and the balance ($100) is due at the Intensive.

As a Graduate: As a Discussion Group Leader:

Discounts

A curriculum discount will be credited towards your total cost if you already have the SLT curriculum (for example: using a sibling's materials who has previously graduated.)

Scholarships

Scholarships may be available, and are awarded based on need. They are applied towards tuition only (Year 1 and Year 2 applicants, or 1st-time facilitators also going through the course).

Important Details

Registration is not secure until a full application, including a deposit of $195 has been received by the SLT Office.

Cancellations and refunds: Those canceling participation in Strategic Life Training at least 30 days prior to their scheduled Intensive will receive back in full their $195 deposit. There is no refund of the deposit for those canceling beyond this date.

Housing: This will be provided for those attending the Intensive on a first-come, first served basis. We expect to be able to house all who apply.

Meals: Breakfast will be provided by your host family and lunch at the facility. Attendees will be on their own for dinner. Please make the necessary provisions to allow for this.

Arrival: Details regarding arrival will be included in your acceptance packet. Typically the Intensive begins at 6:00pm and the first session commences at 7:00pm. Housing will be provided from the evening of registration only.

Events

SLT hosts and recommends a variety of events throughout the year to provide training, networking, and a chance to engage in changing the culture.

Resources

Our parent ministry, Strategic Christian Services, provides a variety of resources and events for those wanting to bring transformation.

Graduates

Graduates of the course have  unique opportunites for networking and further training, as a resulf of their graduate status.
